I've been a fan
of Big Sky Carvers decoys for a lot of years. Several talented
artists have been employed there over the years and one of
my long term goals has always been to acquire a decoy created
and signed by each of their artists.
What first attracted me
to BSC birds was their artist's use of semi-transparant stains,
which allowed the natural warmth and beauty of the wood and
depth of the grain to show through.
I have an interest in the
company history, as well as their artists,
past and present, and will add to this page as I acquire more
info and as time permits. I would like to offer a short bio
for each of the artists, so if you happen to
be one of these artists, or know one, I would especially like
to hear from you.
